Yogyakarta, DetikBisnis.com – Semangat pemberdayaan ekonomi kerakyatan terasa kuat di Kampus INSTIPER Yogyakarta, 24–26 April 2025. Selama tiga hari, puluhan pelaku UMKM dari berbagai wilayah DIY mengikuti Workshop Digital Marketing Bagi UMKM Sawit yang digelar Asosiasi Petani Kelapa Sawit Indonesia (APKASINDO) bersama INSTIPER.
Dipilihnya INSTIPER sebagai tuan rumah bukan tanpa alasan. Kampus yang dikenal sebagai simbol perjuangan sawit nasional ini terus menjadi penghubung aktif antara dunia akademik dan industri sawit. “Kami ingin menautkan bahan baku sawit dengan kekuatan teknologi digital,” kata Sekjen APKASINDO, Rino Afrino, dalam keterangannya, Rabu (30/4/2025).
Selama workshop, peserta dibekali berbagai strategi pemasaran digital serta pemahaman produk-produk turunan kelapa sawit seperti sabun, makanan, hingga kosmetik. Mereka juga diajak berkunjung ke rumah produksi Mie Samer, UMKM kreatif Jogja yang mengembangkan produk berbasis sawit.
Yang paling menarik, workshop ini juga menandai lahirnya komunitas baru bernama UMKM Sawit Jogja Istimewa, sebagai wadah kolaboratif antara petani dan pelaku usaha sawit dari seluruh Indonesia.
“Workshop ini merupakan bentuk dukungan konkret terhadap hilirisasi sawit yang tengah digenjot pemerintah. Potensi pasarnya sangat besar jika didukung pemasaran digital yang tepat,” ujar Rino. Ia menambahkan, dengan konektivitas internet yang menjangkau hampir seluruh pelosok Indonesia, produk UMKM sawit bisa dengan mudah menembus pasar nasional dan global.
Sementara itu, Rektor INSTIPER, Harsawardana, menggarisbawahi pentingnya pemanfaatan teknologi digital dalam memperluas akses pasar UMKM. “Kami ingin menjembatani antara petani sawit sebagai penyedia bahan baku dan pelaku UMKM yang menghasilkan produk bernilai tinggi,” ujarnya.
Ia pun berharap produk UMKM sawit asal Yogyakarta bisa menjadi kebanggaan di e-commerce nasional dan bahkan dikenal hingga pasar dunia. “Produk sawit dari tangan-tangan kreatif Jogja harus bisa mendunia,” tutupnya.
Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa lewat edukasi dan kolaborasi, pelaku usaha mikro bisa naik kelas dan bertransformasi menjadi kekuatan ekonomi digital Indonesia.
